Ensis Engine Oil 30
Long-Term Internal Rust Protection for Petrol & Diesel Engines
20 Litre | SAE 30 | Rust Preventive Engine Oil
Protect engines during storage, shipment and periods out of service.
Ensis Engine Oil 30 is a specially formulated rust preventive engine oil designed to provide long-term internal protection for petrol and diesel engines, gearboxes and transmissions.
It forms a durable protective oil film over internal surfaces, helping to guard valuable components against rust and corrosion during storage, transportation or extended periods of inactivity.
Unlike many temporary protective products, Ensis Engine Oil 30 offers excellent compatibility with conventional mineral oil service lubricants, helping to simplify both laying-up and recommissioning.
Why Choose Ensis Engine Oil 30?
- Excellent Rust & Corrosion Protection
Forms an enduring protective film on internal surfaces to provide effective corrosion protection over extended periods. - Ideal for Engine Storage & Laying-Up
Designed to protect petrol and diesel engines, gearboxes and transmissions during shipment, storage or periods out of service. - Compatible with Mineral Engine Oils
Compatible with high-performance mineral oil service lubricants, helping to avoid the need for costly flushing. - Neutralises Acidic Combustion Products
Contains additives designed to neutralise acidic products of combustion and provide additional internal protection. - High Flash Point & Low Volatility
Helps minimise fire risk during application and storage. - Suitable for Temporary Service Use
May be used as a temporary service lubricant before laying-up and during recommissioning. In many engine types, Ensis Engine Oil may remain in service until the first scheduled oil change. - Seal Compatible

Conforms to the requirements specified in BS 1133, TP6.
Typical Applications
Ensis Engine Oil 30 is suitable for protecting:
- Petrol engines
- Diesel engines
- Internal combustion engines
- Compression ignition engines
- Gearboxes
- Transmissions
- Engines and equipment being placed into storage
- Equipment being transported or shipped
- Machinery undergoing laying-up and recommissioning
How It Works
Ensis Engine Oil 30 is applied using the appropriate viscosity grade in place of the normal service lubricant for a short period before shutdown.
This allows the protective oil to circulate through the equipment and form an enduring protective film on internal surfaces, providing excellent protection against corrosion while the equipment is out of service.
The product is used neat as supplied.
