Pressair oils are a range of air compressor lubricants made form solvent refined high quality paraffinic stock oils having narrow cut distillation ranges.
They contain ANTI-WEAR, ANTI-RUST, and ANTI-OXIDATION additives.
Available in four viscosities - SAE 10, SAE 20, SAE 30 & SAE 40.
The pressair range of lubricants exceed DIN-51506 VDL requirements.
PERFORMANCE LEVELS
SPECIAL FEATURES OF PRESSAIR OIL
EXCELLENT RESISTANT TO “LIGHT END STRIPPING”
HIGH RESISTANCE TO OXIDATION & DEPOSIT FORMATION
GOOD PROTECTION AGAINST RUST & CORROSION
GOOD LOAD CARRYING & ANTI-WEAR CHARACTERISTICS
READY SEPARATION FROM WATER
USER BENEFITS FROM PRESSAIR OIL
Longer valve cleaning intervals due to LOW DEPOSIT FORMING PROPERTIES
REDUCED RING & CYLINDER WEAR due to good RUST PROTECTION & load carrying characteristics.
Good INTER-COOLER & AFTER-COOLER efficiency due to reduced oil carry over to form deposits which impair heat transfer
REDUCED OIL CONSUMPTION due to VERY GOOD STABILITY
LONGER OIL LIFE & LOWER MAINTENANCE COSTS
reduced downtime - all lead to increased operation profit
APPLICATION
Pressair oils are recommended for single and multi-stage air compressors, and are particularly effective for continuous high temperature arduous operation with exhaust temperatures up to 220 Deg.C.
They are SUITABLE for both RECIPROCATING & ROTARY type machines - and are RECOMMENDED for use in MOST COMPRESSOR OIL APPLICATIONS.
In crosshead type reciprocating machines Pressair Oils are suitable for crankcase lubrication.
PROPERTIES
Due to the narrow cut distillation range and additive treatment Pressair Oils have high resistance to oxidation and deposit formation as measure in th DIN 51352-1 OXIDATION TEST and PNEUROP OXIDATION TEST following DIN 51353-2.
Pressair 10,20,30 & 40 exceed the Quality Levels VD-L-22, 46 and 100 in DIN 51506 which specifies the Requirements and Safety Aspect for Selection and Testing Air Compressor Lubricants.
These lubricants also provide good protection against rust, have good load carrying characteristics and separate readily from water.
